En Plein Air Oils/Pastels
with Rosalie Nadeau

Rosalie Nadeau encourages you to paint life illuminated by the dramatic quality of early morning and late afternoon light.  You will learn to capture contrasts of value and contrasts of color temperature.

Emphasis will be on painting brilliant color directly from life, outdoors, weather permitting.  You may paint with oil paints and/or pastels.  There will be two sessions with a mid-day break.

Rosalie is a master painter and inspired teacher.  She is returning to Boca Grande for her 10th workshop.  A master plein air painter, her vibrant paintings have illustrated feature articles in the magazines Pastel Artist International, American Artist, The Pastel Artist's Bible, and others. Her work is included in the permanent collection of the Cape Museum of Fine Arts, as well as other private and corporate collections.  She is a signature member of the Pastel Society of America.
