Valentines Show & Art at Home Tour Both a Huge Success

Both the Valentines Show and the Art at Home Tour were a great great success. The Valentines Show was well-attended in spite of the threat of rain and the red tide. We had 40 artists exhibiting work in various medias and everyone enjoyed the two days. We had a record amount of donations for the two days and were able to give the Library and our Scholarship Fund over $800. Thanks to everyone who made the show so successful.

The Art at Home Tour was also a huge success. The rain held off and 300 people spent the afternoon seeing the fabulous art in eight beautiful homes. Thanks to the people who so graciously opened their homes to us, we raised over $11,000 which will help our budget tremendously. Thanks to all the docents who gave up an afternoon to help with the tour, and a special thanks to Cathy Munsell, chairperson of the event, and Beryl Wells for organizing the volunteers. Great job, ladies!! Thanks to all who purchased tickets! Your support made it all possible.
